Meet Finn

photo

This is Delphinium (named, of course, for Mrs. Twinkle in Kevin Henke’s wonderful Chrysanthemum). But mostly we just call her Finn. Finn is a funny old cat. Not only is she a polydactyl cat – which means she has an extra claw (which make her look like she has thumbs) but she also thinks a dog named Jelly is her mom and likes to be held upside down while her belly is rubbed.

And she loves to read.

No, it’s true, she really does love to read. In fact, sometimes she’ll keep reading even after her reading buddies have fallen asleep. She prefers picture books but will happily snuggle up and follow along with your favorite chapter book too. Which makes her the perfect cat for a librarian!
